I received my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the city in which I was born and raised. In 1987 I joyfully left the Midwestern Winters of my past for the warmth and sunshine of my future. I currently live and make art in both Southern California and New Orleans, LA.
I was honored to be the featured artist in the profile article The Rhythm of the Hand, published in the Winter 2016 issue of Surface Design Journal. My artwork can be seen on line @susanlaschkrevitt.com and @Magcloud.com in the catalogs for Material Consequences, 2014 a show I co-curated and Organic to Geometric: Investigations in Surface and Structure, 2015.
My work has been shown at Art Basel Miami. Artworks have been curated into shows at The Riverside Art Museum, and The Chaffey Art Museum, both in California. In May of 2017, Bound Trio will be included in Depth Perception, a curated group show at The Cape Cod Museum of Art.
